The study also sheds light on specific shopping categories:

  • Fashion: Amazon is the favored choice for trendy fashion, including apparel, footwear, and beauty products.
  • Grocery: Online grocery shopping is gaining traction, with Amazon being the top choice for 35% of respondents.
  • Electronics: Consumer electronics remain a festive season highlight, with Amazon leading as the preferred platform for purchases.
  • Payments: Digital payments, particularly UPI, are witnessing increased adoption for online shopping.
