Teledyne FLIR IIS Unveils Forge 1GigE SWIR Camera with Sony SenSWIR Technology

Teledyne FLIR IIS has launched the Forge 1GigE SWIR camera, equipped with the Sony SenSWIR 1.3 MP IMX990 InGaAs sensor. This camera captures images across both visible and SWIR light spectrums (VisSWIR), making it suitable for various applications.

Enhanced Anomaly Detection and Material Analysis

The camera’s advanced sensor and extended spectral range enhance anomaly detection and material analysis, benefiting industries like semiconductor inspection, food quality control, recycling, and more.

Compact Design and Superior Image Quality

The Forge 1GigE SWIR features a compact 40mm x 40mm x 43mm design without compromising on image quality. It also includes advanced camera features like Pixel Correction and Sequencer with ROI for reliable control in complex applications.

Software Support and Upcoming Demonstration

Teledyne software development kits (SDKs) Spinnaker 4 and Sapera Processing support all IIS cameras, along with the Trigger-to-Image Reliability (T2IR) framework for improved inspection system reliability.

Live demonstrations of the Forge 1GigE SWIR will be available at the VISION event in Stuttgart, Germany, from October 8-10, 2024.
